Something Happened

As an illustrator, I am fascinated by the diverse textures that can be achieved through the use of various media. Whether it's through the application of traditional materials such as pencils, watercolors, or colored pencils, or through digital techniques, I am always looking for new ways to create depth and dimension in my work.

This is a series of four scenes, each containing a mixture of real and unreal elements, that invites the viewer to engage with the work and draw their own conclusions. While each scene is distinct, there is a common thread that runs through them all - a sense of uncertainty, an ambiguity that keeps the viewer guessing.

To bring this vision to life, I have employed a range of traditional and digital media, including watercolors, pastels, colored pencils, and electronic painting. I find that the unpredictability of watercolors, combined with the dreamlike haze of color pastel, help to create a sense of illusion and other worldliness that adds to the overall effect of the work.

Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to use my visual thesis to spark a dialogue about the nature of reality and the ways in which we perceive the world around us. By blending the real and the imaginary, I hope to challenge viewers to think more deeply about their own perceptions and to question the assumptions that they may take for granted.
